^There's not much in that topic, but you can get started. If your topic isnt getting replies, I used to delete it and make a new one, with an edit saying bumped. :D
And according to what I have heard, you should start with C and then progress to C++

Learn to code in C# first, don't do C. C# is pretty easy to use, once you can use that fluently then go for C++, or you could just jump right into the deep end and start at C++. But if you have no programming knowledge you probably won't succeed.

Java isn't too hard, very memory hungry, basically useless language, it's rarely used, with the except of Minecraft, with resurrected it's withering dead body, so to speak.

I do C myself too, learning maybe easy but implementation is difficult. If you're writing a major software with it, the lines of code compared to C#
(to achieve the same thing) maybe like 4 to 5, I'd even say 10 times more! 0.0
You might want to learn the Dummies way :D
C# language is Windows native, aint it Pirate? Wanting to start C# myself, any good references to start with? Would love to discuss this with you people. :lol:

I recommend you to go with C first, as it is structured where as C++ is object oriented.

I believe so, it's pretty simple. I have made a couple little apps, it's rather limited, but its simplicity out weighs the limitations.
