I recently watched the newest version of it which was made in 2014. Which is I believe 6 years ago.
The original was made in 2001... So thats about 19 almost 20 years old. SOOO that's old given it is older than most people in SmG my dude.

i havent watched all of the anime but so far im half way through season 2 and its pretty fun i like gon more than anyone cause he seems like he is the most powerful
