Christmas Break

We have a carnival during Christmas break here in my hometown. It's the best thing there is. Unlike classic carnival, this one's a bit different. Besides the rallies, we have DJ parties and the town will be active 24/7. The beach will be so aesthetic peeps spend most of their time in the beach. It starts on Christmas. 






On exactly 00:00 new year, we burn an old man's statue called "The Pappani" and yell happy new year.

The idea behind this tradition is that we consider "The Pappani" to be an embodiment of our sorrows, regrets and failures. We burn em away and start a new year.
