Most laptops have integrated graphix cards so NO. Buy a new laptop or go with new Desktop. BTW Laptop GPU's have a tendancy to run extremely hot, and are underpowered compared to there desktop co-parts. Ex. GTX 580 > GTX 580m. I run a laptop and it kicks ass. Will hold good for a life expectancy of about another 1-2 years. Next Im going desktop anyway.
External PCI express slots do exist, however they are rare to find and there efficiency is HORRIBLE. Thats why there is little to no literature about them. Use google.
So, is it actually IMPOSSIBLE to upgrade them? I mean, even if it is hard to do it, I know some computer techs that could do it for me, so that's covered.
as long as the graphics arent intergrated and it has say an ATI RADEON 3250m (never even seen one of these cards) in it then yes i know how to exchange it but if intergrated then sorry no
