I prefer hanging out with and playing with dogs over cats, except dogs require a lot more care, mainly dog walking, that I dislike doing so I'd prefer to own a cat over a dog.

Yeah, dogs are way more high maintenance than cats for sure!

Personally, I tend to be a dog person. I like all kinds of animals, but dogs are good in their merits for personality and loyalty. Now, if we are talking about other people, I can get behind those who enjoy the company of cats more...but they should be more accepting of dogs as the divide is often too big in this debate.

Not tryna wake up every morning to walk a dog and let it release thy faeces outside, so I prefer cats. All you do is feed and play and it'll take care of itself. Plus cats can be hilarious sometimes.

I've always encountered the opposite, dog people who are like "cats are evil and have no feelings" types. Every cat person I know is like "yeah dogs are cool too but I prefer cats" but you're def right that the divide is really large sometimes
