Uhhh I'm excited about the anime coming out called Soul Eater. I hear it is going to be really good from my friends when we talk at lunchtime. Wait. It's not 2008 anymore? Frick.
I wish I knew some of the current anime to keep on the lookout for but I just haven't kept up with any of it for the past 7 or 8 years and it looks like way too much to get back into it. Perhaps If I'm lucky I could get some ideas from this thread.

Listen all you need to do is watch the first episode and it seems really cool and bad ass. Then by episode like 3 it becomes a harem anime.
It is about where his friends betray him and he falls deep into a dungeon gets his arm chopped off and the only way he survives to get out of the dungeon is to eat the monsters.
Which sounds like a cool dungeon crawler right. But very soon he just becomes crazy strong and beats the dungeon and goes on to find the other ones. This is all in the first 3 or 4 episodes. (There are 12 btw) the rest of the time he goes to collect women to add to his harem.
