Study's Show Gaming Can Help Mental health.

Calming Minds
Games include a calm atmosphere, example Animal Crossing allows users to go fishing, gather fruits, grow trees, decorate your house, these are activities that can ease the brain. Since COVID-19 many people are stuck at home and playing games is source for fun and entertainment. People over the age of 18 were surveyed, they shared they're experiences and said they enjoyed playing Animal Crossing, the amount of time they play a day the more they felt as ease.

Time and enjoyment
Researchers have found that the amount of time they spent playing was small but a significant positive factor for their day also shown they were more well-being state of mind. The factor for peoples well-being is there play time, too much of this game play and users will find themselves addicted, approximately 2-4 hours a day is stable more then 5 hours you have a addiction.

Scientists Debating Their findings
Scientists have mixed feelings about this, because depending on the field you take will have to look at the effects good and bad on your study like an check up doctor. Some say that it causes good emotional well-being. A scientist pointed out that some games have different effects last year in this county a man thought he was playing GTA 5 and stole people's cars to get away from law enforcement, he has been arrested for many things he will be behind bars for life, so did GTA 5 help this man or did it have a bad influence, well we werent there so we dont know.

RE: Study's Show Gaming Can Help Mental health.

It really depends on the game being played and how its played. Animal crossing is one very specific genre of game for a specific group of people and its completely illogical to compare it to GTA which is for an entirely different group and completely different content. When it comes to online multiplayer games, it depends if you're playing competitively and for fun and who gets placed on your team also has impacts. I think that in this situation, comparing video games to mental health, theres too many variables and types of games to make any argument. It should be done on a game by game and player by player basis.

as long as you're not someone who gets mega worked up and competitive, I think this can be true of any game. However people who have competitive tendencies are obviously not going to feel relaxed when they're cursing out their opponents and throwing controllers when they lose
