Technically speaking here finding the cure would be smarter seeing how you can be basically immune to every disease and make everyone else immune there for making it more responsible to chose the second.

I would find the cure, if I was the only immune person and everyone died that would be a very boring life. Reminding me of I Am Legend except there was no cure found in the end. Anyways it would be better to save everyone.
