I'm a nub so sue me ;)

Hey guys I bought and installed H2V on my win 7 opsys and happy to say its running without trouble. So I was wondering what program you guys use to record vid or take screen caps. I've only ever used xFire and it doesnt seem to detect H2V.

Sorry for the Nub question lol

Use fraps, it's supposed to be the easiest and best. You can make xfire work on H2V, one of our members made a video of, how to do it..

Thanks bro, I downloaded bandicam and it works great. I also attempted the work around in your reply Vader but it didnt work. It would not allow my CPU to connect with WinLive so I changed it all back. Thanks for the tips guys! I appreciate you.

FRAPS will work the best, I have tried all the others, it uses a lot of space to record, I record at 1920x1080 at 60 FPS, and it's ~4GB per 1 minute of footage, depending on the game.
I have ~1.5 hours recorded, and it's ~300GB. If you don't have a decent size HD, then you will need to convert the clips, or record at lower frame rate.

My rig has a 1.5TB hard drive so space is a non issue and after I upload to Utube I delete em.

Re: I'm a nub so sue me ;)

Size is not all that matter
It's also the speed, if you have a 5400RPM, it won't be as good as a 7200RPM, which you will need it to be to record at 60FPS, to my 5400RPM drive I can only record at ~45FPS, to my 7200RPM, I can record at ~100, when I remove the limit, and disable v-sync.
