i got into it cause my dad was a gamer too, so kinda grew up with it mostly.

My big brother got his first pc when he was 7yrs old. We had IGI, Farm Frenzy and Midtown madness.
So by looking at him I got into gaming.

Well if we're talking about actual PC/console games rather than retro games like Super Mario and Donkey Kong, then I have a story for you.

I was 5 or 6 when I heard my brother yelling inside his room. He was playing that one mission in GTA Vice City where you blow up a building using RC Helicopters. And I grabbed a seat next to him and helped him plant the bomb using the number pad while he controlled the chopper using WASD. Winning that mission felt truly awesome. I sat with him while he completed Vice City. After finishing GTA VC, he let me play the game. That 6 y/o brain of mine was not ready to grasp all the violence. Here I am with a permanently fucked up brain.

So since my dad was a former military man, he really enjoyed playing shooting games(as it was all he did when he was deployed) so he got me and my brother onto Halo(he felt better that we were shooting aliens and not real people cause around the time Halo 3 came out and my dad was back, MW1 came out like a few months later, and he didn't want me and my brother to yk actually experience how war really was). So naturally, when Halo Reach came around, BO1 came a few months after, I just grinded BO1.

When it comes to other games, truly the first game I played was Pokemon. Grinded that shit out too.

The first game I think I ever played was Pokémon Platinum in 2010. I was 2 so I had no clue what I was doing and just messed around with the game, but as I got older I actually learned how to play and I currently have 170 ish hours in the game. Another thing that really got me into gaming was playing Peggle with my dad on our xbox years ago.
