Theres a lot of connotations behind Thanksgiving being... not a good holiday. Plus in terms of what Thanksgiving actually is, it's not really like a celebrated holiday among people. Like when you boil it down, youre just giving thanks for your food and giving thanks. Christmas on the other hand you can marketed early with like Santa and gifts and yada yada yada, thanksgiving you can market with a turkey and like black friday.
