I haven't even made a real montage yet.

I have only made some short one day tages.

I don't know a lot about FRAPS; I just know how to capture and not capture.

That doesn't really matter, considering controllers are "easy" to use.

I was being sarcastic about the controller being "easy" because everyone who use MK thinks and says it is easier to use.

Yes, I have never made a montage before; however, I have made minitages and onedaytages.

Plus I have been in the "montage world" longer than you have so I can say facts about tages.
