1 - Halo series: come on, I play this since the day Halo 1 was released in EU. My fav one is probably H2V (or H2X).

2 - Command & Conquer series: I remember playing Red Alert 1 when I was 6 or something :D. However, the last C&C released (tiberian twilight) was just the lamest thing I've ever played. Can't wait for Generals 2 :). Really built my gaming style. I liked all the other games and would give anything to play Red Alert 1 or Tiberian Sun once again.

3 - Guitar Hero / Rock Band: just because, you know, it's FREAKING amazing. I especially love the latest GH ones and Rock Band because you can play 3 different instruments and sing, it's really great in parties.

4 - Pokemon: like, come on, we've all played the 1st generation and spent hours beating the league to get our Charizard / Venusaur / Blastoise to level 100 (my fav was Venusaur, such a f*cking beast). I'm also pretty sure 99% of us have wasted a billion hyper balls to catch Mewtwo.

5 - Amped & Amped 2: I love snowboard, and unlike SSX, this xbox-only game really provided amazing riding sensations. Kinda frustrating sometimes, but you're so proud when you make a big trick, because it actually takes skill. Amped 3 sucked though, losing all its charm to copy the Arcade style of SSX and not even successing in this.

6 - Black & White: I've put so much effort into finishing this game... :D not only because it was hard and you need a lot of patience, but mainly because it's filled with glitches that were never fully corrected. Black & White 2 was meh... I guess the developers tried to correct the failures of the 1st but they took all its charm in the same time: it looked like just any other game which principle is to control a civilization and expand its empire.

7 - Transport Tycoon : today it's an abandonware. You have to manage a transports firm and connect cities and industries together. Very simple to use, you can do anything, you can create you own scenarios... a very amazing game, although I've NEVER understood how to deal with railways signals...

8 - Roller Coaster Tycoon 1,2,3: Woohee. With Red Alert, one of the 1st games I've ever played. I loved hearing people puke after taking a ride in my deadly roller coaster. Damn, need to play the two first ones again... The 3rd was great, adding plenty of new things such as the coaster cam and fireworks.

9 - AOE III: Although I always find this game repetitive at some point! Always choose the French people :D

10 - Dethkarz: spent hours on this game. It's just a very simple race game with 4 types of cars, 4 maps, and weapons and bonuses.

Thanks for putting me into the nostlagy room >.> I realize there are many games I loved and I can't play anymore :(
(also need to mention Oddworld, Wipeout, Tetris, Cell Damage...)

I liked B&W, but wifi battles are meh

it won awards for best storyline and best main character and supporting characters at the game of year awards the year it came out, the storyline is amazing very well thought of, little bit of violence (it is a rockstar game) but it is definately 5/5, the graphics may not be quite as good as GTA4 but it is sooo worth the buy just because of the storyline. Im pretty sure its not even that expensive anymore i think i seen it at wal-mart the other day for thirty bucks
