Sorry to be so harsh. But....

For starters, Harper M1 wasn't even edited that well. Like, I hope you have seen the videos of the 6th montage contest, because they blow all of thos away. Here are a few vid's you NEED to watch.

Sanguine Wave by Obscure Terror. Released in spring 2008, the game wasn't even out for a year. (Widly considered one of the best montages of Halo 3.

Thos are just a few. But there are 100's better then the 3 you posted. Altho they are enjoyable, they just dont match up. Alsooooo, if you don't belive that that is the oppinion of the Halo Montage community ask almost any of the big names. Hell, Phurion WON the 6th contest, and yet he still thinks trinity is spectacular.

Do you have eyes? Harper M1 was one of the best synced tages I've seen, and maybe Sanguine Wave was good, but I couldn't see since the quality was so bad . . . and the editing I CAN see was way overdone. (I'll comment when I see the rest)

Edit: Ok, I watched the rest of it, and it still ain't that great . . .

Edit 2: Oh, you do have eyes . . . Trinity is beastastic

Edit 3: itwasluck is a beast . . .the way I felt today . . . upload the clips tomorrow hopefully. I also saw half of bullx's tage . . it's pretty good. I just like the style and music better on new tages is all . . . but Halo 2 is the best game of all the Halos (minus the button glitches)

Yah, for Sang you NEED the actual file, as for the rest. But Harper M1's edit realy wasn't that good. Compaired to some edits in CS 1.6, CS:P, Quake, CoD4 Promod, that are cleanly edited (Just sync and clean transitions) Harpers is realy average.

That video has the most simple type of syncing, it's syncing to beats, hard aye? The real syncing art is when you sync to the flow of the music, making that 'feel' very few videos have, Frenetic Array is the latest example, you can just sitback and enjoy the video right of. The gameplay isn't teared apart so the editor could sync the clips with beat, which in the first place kills the flow, as there is no rhythm what so ever. The beats are Best for transitions and finishing kills of a clip, not every kill in ONE clip.
