Is there a way to customize the 360 controllers button layout for H2V I currently play bumper jumper and would love it if I could customize the H2 layouts to resemble bumper jumper.

No, not without hacks, but I am pretty sure you can remap the controls by editing the addresses, I will try and get an app for you.

Well it's not really a hack, just an app, but basically everyone dumps them all together.

I am getting a friend to look at it for you, see if it's possible to do. I know it is, but I want to make it retain the aim assist.

A program called joytokey works to reconfigure the button layout to work with multiple functions throughout the computer but from what I understand is that halo 2 has built in drivers that disabling would be problematic. There will be modifications to the basic controller driver in halo 2 and once configured, you would need to reinstall h2v to restore?

Is this correct Pirate? I'm not a computer science major, I dabble.

Jake, no one would know you were even running the app, that's like people changing their keyboard layouts, unless you tell someone no one will know. It's how you like to play, and I have been wanting this too, the only Halo on Xbox I play is Reach, and I when ever I pick up a controller and play Halo I try and use Reach layout, and it isn't. lol.

Toxin, yeah, you can do that but you will lose aim assist.

Spritz, a "hack" is any application that edits, or manipulates the games memory by changing addresses or sometimes editing the rendering engine, which gives you chams etc. My "No HUD" app is a "hack", it changes an address, does it give an advantage? No. Will this "hack" that remaps the controller give anyone an advantage? Probably not, but I don't care. I will try and get this app made.

If and when the app is made, it will be released for anyone to use.
