^agreed. I hated the reach engine with a passion. It just doesn't feel like halo haha

the halo 3 br seemed different from the h2v one. h3 br is less effective far rang than what it was in h2v. and the reach en. is not that bad. the maps are bigger and also more customizing. also cool weapons and vics. but to much of them lol.

I have a feeling it will be a more H2 BR, just from the aesthetics. Halo 3's BR had a longer barrel than H2's. The barrel looks considerably shorter than the H3 version in this video.

This game will be broken out of the box, just like Halo 2, Halo 3 and Reach were all broken right out of the box.

The question is..... Will 343i fix it?

why halo 2 is like no other is cause the multiplayer tricks like dubs,quads,bxr,bxb,bxz bbzxrzxrrbbyyaxx lol
is original and stylish and gives the game "swag" which no other halo game has...
1-these glitches make the game interesting
2-in the days of h2x gamers would go weeks trying to learn these tricks
they changed the game of many tricks to a game with just shooting each other...

The halo 2 BR was more effective that Halo 3 BR because of the amount of aim assist. The problem there is an increase in the amounts of blood shots in H3 from already ridiculous H2. Hell, its never a perfect world. I still take BR over DMR any day.

Halo 4 is quote a " Modified version of the Reach engine"

The Reach engine was a new engine.

It's essentially the same thing. Still uses Havok Physics (and other Havok thing), therefore, useless!
I haven't played a single game that runs Havok that actually works properly. Skyrim is a perfect example of this

A few games which use Havok.

The engine wasn't really rebuilt at all. It's like changing the case on your computer, it may look better, but the insides are exactly the same.

I just go by what I read. I found several articles that talk about the difference from one engine to the next but blocked @ work. U know more than I do about this stuff I promise u that. So same foundation with a different house on top. Technically we both right. Kinda Sorta but not really. Damn its past my bedtime and Im here late.
