Re: AC III

In the Colonial times, they marched in straight lines and they were in a straight line when they were shooting. They also had drummers marching with them. >.>

Re: AC III

Exactly what Mystic said, lol.
Btw, the game looks awesome, but since I don't really play this series, can someone explain why they jump through different periods of time?

Re: AC III

In the first one they need info from your ancestor(s).
It's hard to explain without giving out any spoilers. If you're going to play AC III, make sure you have played all the others, and in the right order, or you will get extremely lost.

I started playing AC II when I was ~75% into the first one, and I was still missing information, so I went back and finished the first one before continuing.
I have only finished the first one, 60% in AC II, and probably 10% in Brotherhood.

they freakin ruin the hole purpose of assassin creed.
i am hell not going to play this because this will be stupid. well get revelation instead. why would they make a game like this during that time. they should just move slowly through the timeline like during the church revormation.

and mystic is right

Re: AC III

i will tell you why sman
Desmonds looks at the past of important assassins. like altair from the bubariean invasion and ezio during the beginning of the Renaissance. like pretty much he brought the assassin clans together and fought the templers and brought the birth of the Renaissance. and why he looks at the past of assassins. to learn mre secrets and also learn the about the apple. now you get it.

Re: AC III

Altair - Jerusalem - Around the 1400s
Ezio - Spain - Around the 1600s
This new assassin - American - Around the 1800s.

If you seen his trailer and how he looks. This makes me want to play more than all of the games.

I'm guessing... The British probably wants to keep USA because they know there is something hidden in that region.

Re: AC III

They used drummers to keep the soldiers marching at the same pace.
Nebula, after having played the games, I am more than confused at your explanation. I will do a less confusing job.
There is this magical machine called the Animus. It allows a user to experience and interact with an ancestors memories. Evil people called the Templars (or Abstergo) kidnap some guy called Desmond, they put Desmond in the Animus to view his memories of some bloke called Altair, who is an assassin.
That's basically how they do it.
Also again Nebula, they only do "important" or interesting historical periods, where "good" and "evil" can be easily seen. I wouldn't be too surprised if one was set in Stalinistic Russia.
Please give generously.
