I have played it before, and it's too confusing, I don't like how they have gone over the top with everything.
I love AOE II, it's my favourite game ever. The simplicity of it is amazing, and you can run it on a pretty average PC. I used to play it on my almost 7 year old PC and it ran fine until I had my army on screen then it lagged.
AOE III went over the top. I love simplicity, which none of the Total War games have, they require you to do a lot more work. I am lazy. xD

well i am not lol so that is why i like it. but total war games or on the top lists right now. more realistic, like Age of empire to, the newer one the old one sucked but i always lose so i quit that game.

Lol Total War games. ROME: Total War. The best and the only one I have played.
It's in-depth and fun. I love leveling up my family memeber, building and taxing cities. Another thing that I like is the badass element in the game. If you have enough patience and good tactics your 500 soldiers can win against the enemies 2000.

Lot of cool aspects. But the only part that I don't like is- The time spent over a game. I have played the campaign over 5 different civilizations and have finished only one long campaign. Probably played 150+ hours.
Another inconvenience would be the inability to save in a battle, especially when you have played the batte for an hr. >.<

I will be downloading Napoleon Total War when I have an infinite amount of time.
PS- I don't think the game supports multiplayer. At least RTW didn't.

Just play the training game. It helps alot. The key is to attack the enemy from the flanks and have two really good generals.

Alright but lol i deleted, so it will be harder to get it back. And it's long because the campaign goes through the exact dates in Neplean's history. Every next turn of yours is at least 2 weeks. and the invasion of Egypt is like 6 mounts-12 months i believe. so its going to take time. another thing i like about nepolean is the siege and land battles. don't like navy ones. they are fun, strategic, and equal. Also the graphics are great.
