First things first,
Question 1.
How old's your MacBook?
Question 2.
Are you sure it's your socket's fault, and not your charger?

No its is not the sockets fault i am very sure of that ; I plugged in my lamp and it functioned bright. Also my mac is 1 year and 3 days old. ( When i called them today they said my 1 year warranty ended 3 days ago, I WAS RAGE ) :x

Try another charger, if you have a friend that has one, if it works, then it's the charger, if it doesn't, then it may be your Mac, well the connector to the charger.

It is probably the charger then, get some tin-foil and rub the tip of the charger with it, not too hard, just a bit, and make sure it isn't plugged in when doing it or you will electrocute your self.
It may fix it, my friend solved his problem that way, rub the inside of it, just to polish the wires a bit.

Yeah, have to wait for it to discharge, the power converter or brick still has some power left in it.
