No, there are torrents that already have a key set up in it, so you practically don't even need to install the game, just launch it right away without having to enter any key.

When you install hce (cracked), it "generates" a CD-key from fabricated values that follow the "rules" of how the installer judges if it's legit.
Or, some just have a bunch of keys programmed in and it randomly installs one.
And I don't use torrents EVER. I just perused the internet for a couple of hours.

I am guessing most of you play CE because your PC's are so bad they can't handle any real games? I know how little of a computer is needed to run H:CE, I was playing it with 60 FPS (VSYNC) on my school PC's, which are about 6 years old, with only about 2GB of RAM and no GPU at all, just the onboard ... :P

I am aware of MC's history of it's retail version released when, in it's alpha stage. What I was trying to tell him is that MC is another freely pirated game that is played by our members. Also, MC has relatively low system requirements that makes the game very "available".
Sorry but there are some games that I absolutely abhor, Minecraft being one of them. I have an extremely negative outlook of the game.


Actually I do own quite a lot of legit games. My dad did buy me games at one point of time. 50% are educational :lol: The rest of them are all RTS games. He was one of the few people who actually checked the ESRB rating of a game before buying it. 4 years ago he stopped buying video games. (reasons you can easily guess) Ever since I have to look at other means to obtain games...

About the GPU part. I don't know if that was specifically targeted at me. Just cause I play CE doesn't mean that I have a shit computer. I do have a decent laptop, which can run Crysis at high settings 1280x1024 with 30-35 frames. On FHD it goes down to 20-25.
I know your rig probably has a gpu twice as powerful at the very least. But hey I am just pointing the facts.

No, it wasn't directed at you, just in general ...
But, yes, I can run Crysis on Ultra, 1920x1080, Full Everything 60 FPS (I have VSYNC on, so I may get more), I can run Crysis 2 on Ultra, 1920x1080, Full Everything ~30 FPS ... Game is coded badly. :P
It's not all GPU that does the work, it is the CPU, RAM, and slightly the HD.

Minecraft uses a lot more RAM and CPU than H:CE ... Since it uses OpenGL which most GPU's are useless at, doesn't matter how good your GPU is, if you have bad, or little RAM, or a low powered CPU, you won't be able to play it.

Even though this is in Off Topic, probably shouldn't sway too far. :P
