Nerd ... Wait, aren't "we" all nerds? Sitting in TeamSpeak, communicating to each other about video games? Isn't that the justified definition of "nerd"?

Actually from what I have read...the term "nerd" comes from an earlier version of the word spelled "knurd" or "knird" (it's debatable) which was "drunk" or "drink" spelled backwards, and was used as an insult to college students who didn't party or drink, but instead studied, were on the chess teams, members of mensa, and such. Basically, if you were an academic, you were a "knurd"(knird) as opposed to if you were a partier.
