I have used just about every antivirus product to date. I would have to say that avast, norton and microsoft essentials are among the best. Avast while being light on resources scores moderate on benchmark tests a very good gaming antivirus. Microsoft essentials is all around great on vista and win 7 but fails on xp. the draw back on essentails is that it is heavy on resources. Norton i feel is the best all around best protection combined with malwarebytes cant go wrong. Also emsisoft antimalware is very good at protection but false positive scans hinder this great product. If it werent for the somewhat faulty scans i would use it over malwarebytes.
aint nothing wrong posting on old topics dear friend ;) I still use AVG and Malwarebytes, I am currently testing Symantec Endpoint Protection and so far its good.
