So I play my xbox on a computer monitor, so I use VGA cables and the dazzle capture card is RCA. So what I have done to try and make this work is. I go xbox vga cable to vga splitter, then a vga cable to my monitor, other half of splitter goes to a VGA to RCA, then I go straight to the capture card. I get the image on the monitor fine but through the capture card its flickering and black & white. Anyone know any way to get this to work or is it simply not possible

Try and plug it directly into the capture card, if it still flickers, then it may be faulty. If it doesn't, your splitter / converter may be faulty.

I found the solution I need to set it up like this xbox to vga splitter, then one to monitor other to pc to tv converter box, connect the dazzle to the pc converter box and then to the computer and I can get up to 720p with the standard dazzle would be high obv if I got the hd one.
