So I woke up today some stuff happened and I decided: "f*ck Ima mod my original xbox controller so I can use it with halo 2 so I don't have to buy one"
1) I ripped open the breakaway cable
*forgetting about the yellow cable cause it don't do s*it*
2) I took an old usb cord and ripped that one open too
3) I soldered the now stripped cables together and installed my specially-formulated drivers
so I can use it with my pc
4) opened up my xpadder and set all of the emulated values from my keyboard/ mouse
5) started halo 2 only to find that I CAN'T SHOOT! [supasnipa] = [WRONG]
if anyone knows a possible way to fix this tell me in as much detail as possible: cause I'm 1337 bitchez! [smokindope]

Umadbrah?, don't tell me you seriously din't know about the adapter, lmao
If you set the right trigger axis to the right mouse click it should work.
Make sure your control preferences are correct in game. If xpadder reads the trigger pull then it should fire, I'd also check and make sure you have a trigger range of 0 to 100 instead of 0 to 30 or something like that.

This is a repeat threat. The best solution if you do not have a controller input that fits the 360 USB is to purchase the adapter that connects the old input into a USB connector. Just google it. It is made specifically for this purpose. I have both controllers and mine will not connect to 360 USB either.
