I need someone to help me patch my halo ce to 1.0

Use the version changer
Version Changer
Place the string.dll and versionchanger.dll in your Halo install directory.
for example (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition)
You will have to replace your strings.dll with the one in the version changer to be able to switch between versions.
Then if you don't already have console enable this is how you do it. Right click your Halo Custom Edition shortcut and select properties. Put -console where is says target like in the picture below. Click apply and ok


Once your in game you can change version by using the command below to switch to 1.00. The default version when you first start Halo is 1.09

CE Command:

version 1.00ce - enables joining to 1.00 servers
version - shows what the current version is
version table - shows all versions you can input

If you need to, just uninstall or reinstall.

It will still patch to 1.09 that way. Using the version changer would be quicker and easier. He wouldn't have to reinstall Halo CE which would still get him exactly where he is at right now. :ugh:

Well, I'm just confused as to what his motive is? Most of the servers are pretty much up to date anyway.

There are a lot more servers on 1.00 :D I use to play on 1.09 still do every now and then but mostly on 1.00 because of that.

I second that, If I remember correctly I posted a topic about this along time ago. Along with the links and tutorial for it. I wonder what happen to it. My post must of been deleted by someone.........
