Ping kick is fine where it is. The way it works is if your ping is over 500 for more than 20 seconds then you get kicked. This is more than adequate for most game play. Disabling ping kick promotes lag as players with high ping cause everyone to lag, a problem I have seen on =DG= servers when high ping players are on the server.

If this was a recent event then it was the servers that were lagging not the ping kick function that was at fault. All the SmG servers that Cloud had running were lagging probably due too many servers running full at the same time. My ping is generally around 270 on SmG servers but over the weekend it was 300 and spiking up to 400.
