Download all the fiels you want!" then it is an issue of whether the person committed an illegal act which Youtube is not responsible for, while they may be responsible to some degree for what is talked about dealing with people's health and physical well being.
P.S. Sorry for the long post... seem to be doing that everywhere today :ugh:
Youtube isn't responsible for whether or not you make yourself chuck your lunch mello. And they arn't responsible for whether you pirate things either. What they are responsible for is whether or not there site advertises them by leaving videos up. So your right to an extent.
However the question becomes that because piracy is a more accepted thing on the internet they leave it up, while videos promoting anorexia and eating disorders are taken down because they violate YT T&C. But if your not allowed to talk about promoting illegal actives, why do those videos remain up while videos of a lesser degree of violation get taken down?
Its because people accept those things more, hence why YT accepts them more. But if they choose to take down videos promoting viewpoints other than there own unjustly, are they not censoring then? Isn't that what all these websites aimed to stop with the sopa/pipa protests, and yet they are so hypocritical in doing what they hated? Because YT isn't a place for you, the user. Its a business protecting its money intake. Look what happened to facebook. Its getting to business-ee and people are noticing it; and in turn leaving. What they dont realize is YT and MySpace, they are ALL in it for profit. The only sites who aren't are small sites such as this. The more money you have, the more you focus on getting more.
