2 things. anybody with any help would be greatly appreciated. and by the way im new to the clan and if anyone wants to play some hce my xfire is dekapp. add me.

1. i cant get the smg private servers to show up on my hce servers list. they appear on my list in xfire but everytime i try to join one it sais im connected to server and loading map. usually blood gulch. then i get a network connection lost message. tried almost every private server. doesnt work. i usually just play in the snipers server but that is public. would really like to play is some private servers against some good people.

2. my moniter is pretty large so i have rigged it so that i play hce in a separate window. that works perfect. but when i join a server straight out of xfire it goes to full screen. almost unplayable.

New members aren't allowed on the private servers until they get promoted to a member. That might answer problem # 1.

Admins will decide when you are promoted to full member.
You should be getting password reject if it was the password problem, what you are getting is something else.

About the xfire full screen issue. I don't use xfire much (as I can't update it >.>) but It seems to me that the reason it does that is because it is activating halo through the various folders and whatnot. If you redirected xfire to run halo to your shortcut in which you play it in windowed mode, it may fix your problem.

trinity. some of the servers are not password protected. i tried to join one that had a password and i got the password from another clan member but i got the same problem. even when i join one without a password its the same things. network connection lost.

Marshmellow is 100% correct, it's becuase your xfire opens Halo through: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition
where the window setting is made by the shortcut so redirect it to the shortcut...
