As Pysch has said, time is experienced differently between humans. A scientific example of such would be accelerating a traveler at a constant speed, 1 g; where in a years worth, the speed will approach speeds close to light. When separate entities observe traveling speed in differentiating gravational regions, both may notice that the traveler has not exceeded the speed of light, thus be able to calculate the distance traveled within that time period, however due to “time dialation”, the traveler has traveled a greater time and distance which is less than the earth observer. The travelers theoritical lifespan will have increased where his subjective lifespan inturn has not been affected at all. This will cause the traveler to notice that the duration of time was indeed much longer than the calculated amount. When the traveler returns back to Earth, he/she’ll notice that several thousand years have passed. It’s also necessary to point out that both the observer and the traveler will agree that the traveler has not travelled beyond the speed of light, however this is contradicted when measuring the distance traveled divided by the subjective time that has elasped. Only when the theoritical time is inputted, the speed at which the traveler travelled at will remain less than the speed of light, however “time travel” will need to bne acknowledged.
So in theory, if one travels at great speed close to the speed of light, one can achieve time travel into the future. So kiddies, drive fast cars and planes and you shall “time travel” by a few minutes in comparision to the much more substatial amount; the speed of light.
