ok so i was talking to EA customer support about my controller not working with BF3...

you: whenever i connect my controller during or before play of the game. I get no response from input even if i set the controls to the controller

you:to put it simply my controller is not working with battlefield 3 PC

you:Well Battlefield 3 Limited Edition PC

For flying purposes I assume other then that your just asking to get owned hardcore. If you really want to use a controller try Xpadder. It simulates your keyboard on your controller.
