laptops for gaming [Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTA1rE5XXC9x8Gz33m8l-3...WX4PUXAb0C]

Widow WGMA-27GX10 Gaming Desktop by VisionMan: Peaks at around 1600 AUD, 1700 USD. If you want to spend THAT much than go with a desktop, you'll get so much more bang for your buck, and run Crysis and Arma and Battlfield and all those other upgrade eaters at there MAX video settings with no lag drop.

Re: A laptop

Ultrabooks are not meant for gaming, thus they have intergrated GPU, however they look sleek and sexy :)
Which brand do you prefer? HP, Toshiba, Samsung, Acer, Asus etc?

Re: A laptop

@Beasty Parents are only allowing me to get a laptop atm.
@Ray I said anything, but Toshiba. So you pick the one you reckon is best. :) Thank you!

Re: A laptop

Ive had an ASUS for awhile now..... Like 3 years and one broke and the other is in the process of breaking.... Im just a desktop guy, laptops break too easy and are more expensive with lower specs and can be harder to upgrade when the time comes. Seriously try to get your parents to consider, it would be so much more worth it

Re: A laptop

I would not suggest an ultrabook, they'll heat up very soon whilst gaming.
If you want a thin laptop, I'd suggest my laptop, Acer Timeline-X GT, just google it, I'm on my phone, so it ain't feasible.
Timeline series has beast battery life.

Mine is damn thin(close to ultrabooks) with all the requirements you need, and the new one has i7, I think.
But, mine has those damnn heating problems cuz of le thinness, you'll prolly need a cooling pad.
