i = i^5 but not i^10
cuz i^10 = i^2
i = √-1 = 1
i^2 = √-1^2 = i
i^3 = √-1^3 = -1
i^4 = √-1^4 = -i
i^5 = √-1^5 = 1
i^6 = √-1^6 = i
i^7 = √-1^7 = -1
i^8 = √-1^8 = -i
i^9 = √-1^9 = 1
i^10 = √-1^10 = i
yup im a nub :p
I agree. U got it all wrong.
I is the square root of negative one. This is not equal to 1 as 1^2 does not equal -1. This is the correct pattern of I
I^1 = I
I^2 = -1
I^3 = -I
I^4 = 1
Since I is mod four it repeats this pattern to infinity. So i^5 = i and i^10 = -1
Anyways this is going way off topic and Phoenix already posted the correct answers this should be locked as resolved IMO
