I believe that is right. I generally don't do it this way. I got a calculator I just plug the problem into and it spits out the answer.

why do people always think that this is a multiple choice question. it is a question with multiple parts. 1,2, and 3 are not answer choices, they are questions related to the givens. and it seems like if u didnt know how to do the problem u shouldnt be trying to help, even as a jest, as it is pointless and doesnt help the person who posted the topic.
