I have Windows 7 64-bit and only 1 partition of my HDD(C drive). Lets say my dad got Windows 8 cracked from somewhere and he is gonna give me when my vacation starts when I get my laptop :D ,so I was thinking if i could split up my HDD and install Windows 8 in the other drive and if I restart the laptop, when it starts , will i get an option between windows 8 and windows 7 ? or there is another way to do it I think I have enough requirements to run Windows 8 - i5 and 6 gb ram with 2 gb nvidia GT540m

Definitely able to run it. Not so sure about splitting your drive into two partions though, you might have to ask a professional for better advice.

Partitioning is easy... Why would you want to run cracked OS?

It's...just install the OS on the Hard drive...and when turning on the PC, i think you press F9 and it will show you a screen in where you can chose from which hard drive you want to start...chose the one with the OS desired and it's done.
PS: I don't remember very well, correct me if I'm wrong

Well its most probably gonna work. I would recommend talking «SmG» Hoax before you do it thought. Anyway I wouldn't use windows 8 just now because there might be alot of bugs and glitches in it.

An OS on a USB? I don't trust it...maybe a plug n play external hard drive...something you wont be taking out of the PC very often.
