I no longer know what to think xD the lag makes it impossible to play any game regardless of the server location (I experience lag even in my own LAN game lol), sometimes people seem "unconcerned" by the tons of bullets directed at their head or sometimes they just teleporting here and there like Goku, but in the end the outcome is the same, I die xD
Probably this is all caused by my ping fluctuations, but why? What's the orgin of this mess? My desktop it's a bit old, I bought it in 2008... but it shouldn't be enough for playing at HCE normally? o.O here's its spec along with speedtest and pingtest results:

- Intel ® Core™2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz
- RAM 2,00 GB
- 64 bit
- NVIDIA GeForce GT 520





Listening to my ISP it's all fine.

1) I don't run unnecessary programs like skipe, emule, torrent etc. when playing.
2) I have a lot of space on my disk and I regularly defrag it.
3) Complete scans with Avira, Malwarebytes, SUPERAntyspyware, Trojan Remover don't show any problems (they aren't in conflict)
4) I clean my pc like everyday with CCleaner and Jetclean.
5) I have installed Latency Fix 3.00.
6) Tried also Razer Game Booster but with no improvements of any sort.

Okay so are we talking about fps lag or a problem directly related to your connection which btw doesn't seem to be very good?

The reason of this topic is (hopefully) to figure out the cause of my weird lag.

You will have lag no matter how good your connection is.

1. Where the server host is located
2. Other people connection

You can have the best connection but still have some lag in there. So you really can't get ride of lag that easily.

And lag is just how fast your net/console catches up to the server or host. If it keeps up with it faster than less lag. If it does not than more lag.

get fraps and tell me what your fps is,
uhm i suggest getting a trial fraps for this.

You can just press Ctrl+F12 to see your FPS in game for Halo CE.

There are a few thinks I can think of.
Your computer is overheating and working harder to cool it.
Your computer isn't getting enough power so it runs weaker.
If you haven't restarted it for a while try that.

I think it's properly powered, and I often restart my pc for various updates, more info:

CPU: 23°C (73°F)
Mainboard: 36°C (97°F)
Video Card 41°C (106 °F)
Hard disck: 29°C (84°F)
Fan Speed: 1008-1013 rpm

Hmm, 222 in the menu, then I'm guessing you're getting <70 in-game?

85≥ in-game fps ≤212 something like this xD and yeah my pc is fully updated...
