So I made a deal if I get 4.0, my parents might let me get a game system.

Choices are:

Xbox 360
Playstation 3
A better PC

So I really want to have a personal xbox 360 between my and my brother. But may dad is against us paying every month/year for playing online. To have a gold account. But I might use my money for that but still, he is uneasy about it. But I really want to play halo 4 and spend more time than going to friends.

Playstation 3 is also an option because it's free to play online. But it has no halo... You can play BO2 and stuff but not interested in CoD anymore. But my brother really want's to have this.

I always wanted to have a better and powerful PC. Free online and amazing graphics. I might be able to buy a good computer within 800-1000$. But again no Halo. But than I can play games more legit because of no aim-assist.


So really want to have Halo 4 and play online. So what you guys suggest?

tbh you have a good enough computer, i think a new PC would be a huge waste. And your dad has a point. Xbox is expensive. 60 bucks a year adds up after a while, and to boot, while halo and gears of war are great, thats the ONLY good exclusives you get for xbox. Ps3 has a larger category in terms of this: LBP (actually fricken awesome), Killzone 1, 2, 3, Uncharted 1, 2, 3, Twisted Metal, God of War 1, 2, 3, Infamous 1, 2, MAG, Haze, Heavy Rain ect. ect.

I think your best option would be a ps3 tbh.

Well I thought the same when I got my sexbox I really didn't like the idea of paying 60 bucks per year for gold but I am seriously amazed of how good halo is. I bought the sexbox only to play halo 3 and reach at that time and I still think I made the right decision. Every COD lasts one year because they make a new one which maintains pretty much the same and most part of other games are not popular enough to hold a decent amount of people playing online in a community.
Yes with a good pc u will be able to run a huge amount of games but trust me none of them is comparable to halo. I don't just say this because I'm a halo fan but because no other company puts such a big amount of effort in every detail of the game like 343 or bungie. Halo 4 is as good as h2v and you can trust me I played hours and hours of h2v and I have been enjoying halo 4 just like the old h2 times and even more.

@Pulse- Personal meaning my own and with my brother. So I don't have to walk to my friends house and play on his xbox 360. Even though we have lot's of fun.

@Beasty- Yeah I understand but the games you listed I not very interested in much. If PS3 had Halo I will go for it all the way but it does not... and CoD I'm pretty much done with. Same with BF games. AC games I still play and interested, same with Halo.

@unKnowN- That is why I've quit CoD. And adding to yours I like the controller placement. But the the hard thing is I want a separate account from my brother. Meaning over all my family will be spending 120$ every year. I know it's stupid for me but I want to have a separate account to show my legit achievements... Is there a way to get two accounts for one plan?

I'd say wait for the 720 to come out, but who knows when/if it will come out. I'd say xbox is better, but for the price go with a ps3.

Yeah pretty much, my plan is pretty much this.

The first thing I will try to get is Xbox 360, if not than a PC, and if not PS3. PC have like the same games as PS3. So really don't care between those two.
