Windows 8 is a peace of shit tablet.
Window 7 is the best so far, than XP, than 2000. Vista...don't even talk about that...

Windows 8 is only good for touchscreen. And a laptop that has touchscreen and keyboard....WTF.

I agree that it is made for tablets, but W8 has DirectX 11.1 and less resources used by the system processes

That does not make a huge difference though... Mines works fine. I bet you if I have W8 (with touch screen computer...) it will do the same thing and have the same speed etc....

Plus those computers might not be good for gaming. I don't even think W8 is good for gaming either.

And all games work for me on Win7, if you wanna play old 199X games, use XP. But not for newer ones :P

Windows XP came out in 2001 foo' those "199X games" your talking about are only a few years old.....

again, i have used vista 7 2000 and xp, and im telling you xp is the best, there isn't even a question. Its not just the best windows, its the best OS. Amazing stability, easy interface, this was also before %appdata% was seperated into roaming and the other one, plus the multitude of other simpler features, mixed with a lil' nostalgia makes Windows XP > All other OS'. Sorry, but ask anyone whos a professional what Windows OS is best, at least 60% will say windows XP, if not at least mention it.

the reasons in that article are not heavy enough to counter Windows XP's brilliance.

But the XP mode for Windows 7? ......hmmm, maybe it would help to maybe upgrade. Still, April 2014 is going to be a sad day in the internet world.....
