No games are much cheaper but you can't get any free games.
Steam has many free to play MMO games like PlanetSide 2, Age of Empires Online etc. which are still available freely.

Occasionally some 'paid' game is made free to play for a weekend or so. Modern Warfare 2 was one such game.
Regarding this sale there are no such games or offers.

Lol battlefire just got owned... And mw3 was also made free for the weekend. Can you tell me the ways that I can pay on steam. If something is suitable for me, I am interested in buying a few games :D

You can pay through any standard means;Credit Card, Debit Card, Paypal. Steam is free to join, so you can browse the options yourself.
Btw I was just giving my opinion on why I like steam. Not any second meanings in that post.
Buying games from stores is always much more expensive than buying from steam. Since I am only willing to buy games if they are cheap, steam is the way to go :lol:
With good internet the games are pretty much instantly ready to play since steam automatically installs and updates the game. Also the games are available everywhere you go through your account, you dont need to carry physical forms of storage.

The main disadvantage of steam that I would point out is that, you cant 'return' a game if it doesnt work on your system.
