Can this run MW3?

My laptop specs:

AMD Athlon™ II Dual-Core Processor M300
Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit)
3GB DDR2 memory
320GB HDD (5400rpm, Serial ATA)
DVD-SuperMulti (+/-R double layer) with Labelflash™ drive
Realtek 802.11b/g wireless-LAN
No Bluetooth (No Antenna)
104 key US keyboard with 10-key pad (silver)
Touch pad pointing device
Li-Ion (4000mAh, 6-Cell)
1-eSATA/USB combo port
2-USB (2.0) ports

MW3:

OS: Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom X38750 processor or better
Memory: 16 GB free hard drive space / 2GB RAM
Video Card: Shader 3.0 or better, 256 MB NVIDIA®GeForce 8600GT / ATI Radeon X1950 or better
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0C or later

I want to see if I can run the game low settings. All low I mean. I'm aiming at the campaign first. I did run system tests and said I failed. But many people reported that these tests say they failed but they can run the game easily. Both laptops and Desktops.

Re: Can this run MW3?

Well overall.

Can I play it around 30-60 fps?
I mean mw2 runs with low resolution but low-high texture settings etc.
And I think Mw3 has the same engine as mw2.

GPU speed is alright.

Re: Can this run MW3?

Frame rate would be lower than 30 I reckon.
And that site doesn't give the correct impression, as unknown said in one of his previous posts.

Re: Can this run MW3?

Is there any difference between the campaign and multiplayer?

Yes, Alloy, you got that right, sometimes the fps does drop during heavy explosions and gunfire in online play especially if you are getting less than 30 normally.
I don't play MW3 to often, Knight does, better confront him.

CPU: AMD Athlon™ II Dual-Core M300

GPU: AMD M860G with ATI Mobility Radeon 4100

Also doesn't MW2 have the same engine as in MW3?
I mean COD is not really demanding. I mean many people I hear say if you can run mw2 you can run mw3. Also again I don't care if I lowers my resolution. I pretty much play all my games like Halo on the lowest resolution. I get around 30-40 fps on mw2 low resolution. I can also lower the texture settings.

Also thinking about getting the demo of mw3 just to test.
