You can pirate it easily using the gfwl key swap trick.

One of the reasons h2v is empty is because it has lots of bugs halo 2 xbox and halo CE didn't have.

Known Issues
1) Just before the Gravemind level the game asks for the CD. This a bug in some peoples installs. Not sure what the criteria is because I've never gotten it. However the solution is not to “Resume”; that will set you back up to 3 levels. What you want to do is return to the campaign menu and select the level to play. One person copied the map file for that level, 07a_highcharity.map, from the CD, and made another copy renamed to 07a_highcarity.map. With both spellings of the map in his directory he did not get the message again.

2) Servers not available when you go onto Live. This is another bug that pops up when you go into the server browser RIGHT AWAY when you start the game. If you do anything else first; i.e. Check messages or settings, the servers will display when you do go into it.

3) Mouse stuttering badly They have found that on high end machines running the game over 100FPS it is running to fast. You need to force V-sych on and that should correct the issue. NOTE: this only works in full-screen mode
For Nvidia users:
1. Right click on your desktop
2. Click NVIDIA Control Panel
3. Select Advanced Settings
4. Click Manage 3D Settings
5. Click on the Program Settings Tab
6. Click Add
7. Select halo2.exe ( c:\program files\microsoft games\Halo 2 )
8. Scroll to the bottom of the settings for Halo2.exe and force Vsync ON
9. Click Apply
10. Play!

For ATI users:
1. Right click on your desktop
2. Click ATI Catalyst Control Center
3. Click on 3D
4. Click on All Settings
5. Scroll down to "Wait for vertical refresh"
6. Move it to the right until it says "On until application specifies"
7. Click Apply
8. Play!

4) Cannot change key-binding, “E” is already used. Another known bug that doesn't affect all. The solution so far is to choose “Southpaw” and configure it the way you want, it seems to allow the key-binding just fine in that setup.

5) Getting an error code connecting to LIVE. This is an issue affecting a lot of people in Halo2 and Shadowrun. The issue has to do with NIC's port forwarding but I haven't been able to gather the fragmented info into any kind of a solution yet.

ya i was bout to say that i just found that out lol. like i got a wireless but i turnn it on then halo then when i leave iturn off the troller an turn it back on and some times it works fine some times it acts stupid

idk y but i think also if u straighten the cord for a wired troller it helps i noticed tha with my old troller idk y but it worked
