Overclocking CPU & GPU?

I only recently found out that you can overclock Graphics Cards too. But I got my PC with no extra cooling system and I have absolutely zero experience with overclocking or cooling systems whatsoever.

1. What are the requirements for overclocking?
2. How do I overclock my Processor?
3. How do I overclock my Graphics Card?
4. Are there any dangers and how long could I keep my overclocking running for?

Think of overclocking as someone taking steroids. Too much of it will permanently damage your computer.

Re: Overclocking CPU & GPU?

No need to overclock that, in the end you will rage for getting 5% more power but losing warranty if your hardware breaks when overclicked..

Seriously there is no need to overclock lol

Yes that is like a very good example.

Don't do it. It's stupid and really useless.

I wouldn't say useless, it's just that the risk outweigh the benefits

The risks are very high. And it's useless because what's the point of doing this if you won't be able to enjoy it when your computer is screwed?
