Boston Marathon: 3 deaths 140+ wounded, 2 explosions
http://edition.cnn.com/2013/04/15/us/bos...?hpt=hp_t1
A very sad day for Americans and that it happened on Patriots Day. May we remember this day and pray for the victims and their families. This was considered as an act of terrorism but still FBI and authorities are looking for the suspect who did this terrible thing.
1 explosion happened near the finish line and then 10 seconds later, another bomb went off. Around the same time these bombs happened to explode, several miles away at the JFK library, there was an explosion there too. Police think that this isn't related to the Boston Marathon but we'll see.
An awkward thing that all of you should see..

They said that whoever did it put the devices in their back packs. What I'm wondering is why would anyone do explosions on a marathon? o_O

From what I have read up till now, the bombs were in pressure cookers. That makes it pretty obvious that its of subcontinental make i.e. Pakistan, possibly India will be scrutinized.
:/
My flight back to India is in a few weeks, from Boston. I hope the security at the airport doesn't cause extra problems.
