Conan but I have used steam for a long long time. Day 1 when I got Empire Total War.

Steam works best if you play a game that steam has.
When you go to the communities do you see them talking about "Halo"? Can you have steam features while being in Halo? Like you do in TF2 or Portal? The only cool thing you can do is add it to your library. But there's no achievements or articals talking about it. Or news. Or Community Hubs?

When you add Halo or LoL you go to add game and it would be in the non-steam category.

Also Steam destroys games. Like Ace of Spades. It was going to be free but bunch of idiots made it into steam and now it's terrible.

Dude nothing stop anyone from making a community for a non steam game...Achivements...that's it. I don't give a flying f about achivements.
Articles? What kind of articles would you write about a 10 years old game? lol
TF2 and Portal are games made by Valve so they obviously have steam features INSIDE the game. And how will using steam as another form of communication will destroy Halo? Maybe adding a non steam game will make them react and make us pay for it? I just don't get it. All the things you're mentioning are superficial feautures...this is about communication, which is possible with Steam. Just say you don't like steam and that's it.

Communicating with other people is complicated. Even worse in game. It's bad because Steam is more focused their stores.

I dont use steam, its a pain in the ass and takes up too much memory when i be trying to run halo :/

Its too complicated. where for xfire is so simle you its more easier than failing at trynna steal candy from a baby. dont thimk stealing candy from a baby is easy cause its not... stupid baby cry like hell and got me in trouble so bad i could do nothing!

Also in Steam there are lot's of hacking.

And what's pain in the A** is that you can't get one game to another steam account. It stays there :/ And yeah xfire is good because it's easy to use for communication and overall it's not complicated. Steam for me is not good gaming tool. But I have to use it to play Total war games.

Steams not that bad Lich. U can get lots of awesome games from there, even awesome free ones! so dont think too bad about it!

^only game i honestly even used steam for was Alliance of Valiant Arms, and only cause you have to launch the game through steam.

Loading games are so much longer through steam.
Games with steam are bad. I noticed that between MW3 with steam and one with no steam.

Oh god tell me about it. Half the time AVA would crash when i tried running it. Steam is really bad imo, but im wondering if they are gonna make it work with the steam box :/
