    Try reinstaling it as Hawk suggested... Idk, something may have gone wrong during the installation.

    He is not banned nor is he being kicked. He just can't join servers that have no ping displayed.
    It sounds like you have a corrupt file. Remove the game and re-install it. Make sure to get the latest updates.
    Don't piss off old people.
    The older we get the less "life in prison" is a deterrent.
