Just focus on running a lot like

Wake up really early like a 5 am or something go out for a  3 miles run for your first time and then increase as you move on

Running will help in losing weight also doing lots of sit ups, and as for what some of the other members said get into a diet

You dont need to sign up for a gym dude, I train almost everyday  and I never used the gym to lose weight just to build arm and stuff. when I wanted to lose weight I didnt go to the gym and when I wanted to look a little more muscular that is when I went

So as I said start with 3 miles, and then after a week go for 3.5 miles and so on
try to find a local park or something to do sit ups or do it at your house, and some push ups but focus on doing 300 pushups since this is your first time starting

Also before going to sleep after I finish one, I go for the other

15 days before sleep workout

30 days before sleep workout

Those 2 might be a little to much for you since your starting now, but if your ever interested

Everybody here gave pretty good advice on how to lose weight so I can't add much on diet and working out. I usually go to the gym 5 days a week trying to emphasize each part of body such as legs, arms, chest, shoulders, and back. Back workout is important and I recommend having somebody with experience to show you how to work them out cuz like 40% of people don't know how to do back workouts properly. But do some cardio and then some weightlifting. 

The most important thing is you have to be consistent. You can't slack no matter what your mind tells you. You go to the gym for yourself. Workout for a good year and you'll find that motivation when you check yourself in the mirror. I mean that's what motivates me I'm a very skinny guy and I don't eat a lot so I'm just lean which is something I need to fix xD. But if I stop working out I'll lose the muscles mass that I worked so hard to gain. Just workout everyday and you'll see results.
