When a new member joins, welcome them, try and have a convo with them. If they seem comfortable with the server, ask them if they want to join. If they say yes send them a link (through dm) and guide them on how to join. If they say no, don't pressure them. That'd probably cause them to become wary of the community and unlikely to join.
