My vote is aligned to cats because I've never raised a dog. And I disagree with people who claims cats aren't loyal. Cats are loyal, but when you compare them with dogs, it's not worth counting on.

I have never personally owned a cat because my parents never allowed it but I've always wanted to live that experience. I did have a dog growing up and I loved it. They are both extraordinary animals. I say all animals have unique personalities you just have to take time to get to know them.. Blush

I feel like people use this argument a lot! Along with the "if you die and your dog/cat is trapped with you and they have no other food, a cat will eat you and a dog will die of starvation" to show that dogs are more loyal, but I think that's kinda dumb. Like you want your dog to die just cause you died?

Cats can be very loyal as long as they are treated right! But I think you're definitely right about dogs being more loyal because when the time comes a cat's self-preservation instincts will kick in; however I don't think that's a bad thing!

Since dogs are easy to play with, I prefer them, with cats is harder, because they hurt you if you're not careful, also they aren't energetic commonly and they disappear for hours.

Dogs as I said, are easy to play with, are energetic, they are more easy to teach, their behavior depends in the way it's treated and they are more lovely. I just prefer dogs :patwut:
