I always thought that God has let us do as we do, to see how we evolve by ourselves instead f relying on him to solve every problem for us.
I mean, if he helped even one of us, everyone would want him to help them, and we would just become people that ask him for everything.

he is testing us. and that is not religion that causing the problems. its part of human nature. there is a saying in islam.
"work hard in the test and you will have peace in the afterlife" the point with our life is not being perfect. and if everything was important nothing will change. we will not study, we won't learn nothing. life is meant to go through bad things and learn.

that is not true. those that make mistakes can fix it. but those that don't fail. wars are meant to part of this world. peaceful wars or violent wars. and again we are humans and we make mistakes. but its a great mistake to continue the mistake. and that is what is great about other religions or Atheist. we learn, and put them in our lives. and remember, religion is science and literacy etc. like the muslim empire back than that they study astronomy, Christians/catholic's too. all of them are.

So what you are saying is humankind is a mistake that has not been corrected yet...which I agree with. Us as humans are truly the Earth's great mistake, one that is truly great and awful. Our excistance is both a plauge to this planet yet a blessing to the universe. With that, I pose a question: in your opinion, do you think religion will be disregarded if proof of extraterrestrial life is found? Religion has presented the idea that we are unique and alone in this universe and with proof of life on other planets, I believe religion will have outlived its usefulness on this planet.

have you not forgot is science thhe big bam need a huge amount of energy to be created. and it can't happen naturally. its just to big.
and humans are not the mistake. no humans was the achievement in the hole universe. why? we are the only ones plus animals to live. you are looking at the small things look at the large. look at the universe. it big and you know it. you are only looking at a dust to a huge room. even smaller than a dust. 1,000,000 smaller. look at the big think and think. it can't happen by it self. here is a quote.
