Insteed, I have always thought that Jhon was the subject test #117...that's from where all their code's come from...the order they picked up all the kids. Wasn't it at the beginning 120 subject, then 72 survived the training, then 32 survived the spartan process?

The main setting in Halo 4 is the shield world thingy.

Sorry, but i am the source of all halo knowledge.

There was 150 Candidates. 75 Didn't make the Augmentation process, and thus 32 was left. John, although Candidate 117, was first screened. he was the 117th match for Dr Halsey

Ok, so if you have read Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, you would recall that Kelly, Fred, Halsey and a bunch of other spartan 3's entered a slipspace sphere. Halo 4 was dated 6 years after that. Halo: Glasslands goes back to them. yet it doesnt explain that they got out (or it did, and i missed it). the only logical explanaition for their whereabouts is on that shield world.

As for chief, he got onto the world via half of the Frigate class Forward unto Dawn

Yeah... that video is when he got screened for augmentation when he was about 14...
