Guys I'm pretty sure he's having internet lag problems. and since it happens even on LAN... his router is crap. That's it. Cuz gantzer you said you ISP claimed no problemos? and your PC most definitely can handle CE :lol: the only problem I see is yoru router.

I agree with marshmallow, if you've got a wireless connection to your router try to get a cable that MIGHT help.

I was thinking the same but unfortunately it doesn't help much...

Are you wireless or wired to the router/modem? If you are wireless then try running with wired and see what difference it makes.
If you are wired then try a different computer and see if it improves.

Here in my country, technicians don't know a damn thing about computers... they just make you waste time and money lol

wireless or wired seems to be indifferent, tested with 3 computers, some just lag a bit more/less then the others. One more thing, i'm not 100% sure but at night it appears to be more laggy...

Since I have a desktop, I used my parents' laptop for trial and even if it's more old than mine, the gameplay was acceptable xD however by now the right of withdrawal is already expired, so even if the problem is my modem nothing much can be done...

Sounds like something running in the background on your computer may be the problem.
Start task manager and leave it running. Have a look at the usage while you are playing to see which processes are using the most memory. Check the CPU column for the processes that are using cpu resources.
If you are running optic then be aware that it can leave processes running even though you think that you have closed them.
Do you shut down your computer or leave it running all the time? If you leave it running then old processes accumulate over time.
